About

Commercial steadiness for people who share a venture

We help partners name contribution, control, and exit terms before those questions harden into conflict.

Principal advisor in a calm office setting

Registered business

The official registered business name is Cedar Hub Partnership Consulting Pty Ltd. The practice was established in 2016 in East Yeoburn, Victoria, after years advising co-owners through handshake arrangements that had outgrown informal notes.

Early work focused on regional family enterprises and two-person professional firms. As demand grew for joint venture alignment and facilitated reset sessions, the practice expanded to serve partners across Australia by video while keeping an office base at 90 Shadforth Street.

Today Cedar Hub remains a specialist partnership consulting practice. We prepare commercial structure and negotiation posture; solicitors, accountants, and tax agents remain the authorities for deeds, filings, and regulated advice in their fields.

Working approach

We interview partners separately first, then bring them into a structured workshop. That sequence surfaces private constraints before the group conversation, which keeps the table quieter and more precise.

Written outputs favour plain language: options with trade-offs, a recommended path, and a briefing pack your solicitor can use without reverse-engineering intent.

Values in practice

  • Separate commercial agreement from legal drafting
  • Respect kinship in family firms without blurring ownership
  • Price engagements as scoped projects, not open retainers by default
  • Decline work that requires courtroom advocacy or regulated legal practice

People

Engagements are led by senior advisors with backgrounds in commercial facilitation and owner-managed businesses across Victoria. Associates support research, document preparation, and session logistics so partners meet a prepared room rather than a blank whiteboard.

When a matter needs legal form, we coordinate a clean handoff to the client’s chosen Australian solicitor. We do not draft deeds in-house.
