Refund and cancellation policy

Scope

This policy applies to advisory engagements and facilitated sessions offered by Cedar Hub Partnership Consulting Pty Ltd, including partnership structuring, negotiation support, joint venture alignment reviews, and partner dispute reset sessions. It does not cover products, software subscriptions, or physical goods, which we do not sell.

Eligibility

Refunds are available when we cancel an engagement we cannot deliver, when a deposit is paid and work has not started within the agreed start window for reasons attributable to us, or when Australian Consumer Law otherwise requires a remedy.

Timeframe

Refund requests should be emailed to hello@content-cedarhub.click within fourteen days of the event giving rise to the request, or within the timeframe stated in your proposal if different.

Full and partial refunds

If we cancel before any advisory work begins, deposits are refunded in full. If work has started—interviews conducted, workshops held, or draft memos prepared—fees for completed stages are retained and any unused prepaid portion may be refunded or credited by written agreement.

Non-refundable items

Third-party venue hire booked at your request, travel booked with your written approval, and completed session blocks that you attended are non-refundable. Proposal preparation time before engagement acceptance is not billed and therefore not refundable.

Cancellation by you

Cancel in writing. More than ten business days before the first scheduled workshop or session: deposit refundable minus any irrecoverable third-party costs. Between ten and three business days: fifty percent of the deposit may be retained. Inside three business days, or after work has commenced: deposits are generally retained for scheduled time held.

Rescheduling

One reschedule of a workshop or session block is permitted without fee if requested at least five business days ahead, subject to diary availability. Later reschedules may incur a rescheduling fee stated in your proposal.

Deposits and no-shows

Deposits secure diary time. Failure to attend a confirmed session without notice is treated as a late cancellation. Partial session attendance does not create a refund for unused time within that block.

Work already started

Once partner interviews or document review has begun, fees for those stages are earned. Remaining prepaid amounts for undelivered stages are discussed case by case.

Refund process and timing

Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method where possible within ten business days of approval. Processing times at banks may add further days.
